R"? ~? v~q;~t?qqqt qqq &&&&.D.vvvvvv On Sino-Latin American Trade Conflicts High economic complementarities between China and Latin America are pushing the rapid growth of their bilateral trade. However, Chinas surging export to Latin America has stirred concerns in the regional countries. Since the end of 1980s, they have continued to take antidumping measures as one of the major trade remedies to China. Currently, China is a major victim of Latin Americas antidumping measures. The trade conflicts between them, the leading factor restricting the bilateral relations, have the following features: Latin Americas unilateral trade punishment on China, the increasing involvement of the regional countries and products, and the diversification of trade remedies in Latin America. Therefore, it is necessary for China to take advantages of the rights granted by its WTO membership to respond to those antidumping claims. In the meantime, China should take positive actions to adjust its export strategies and normalize Chinese enterprises overseas behaviors, aiming at building more flexible economic cooperation with Latin America.
